1.Sholay



Sholay  is a 1975 Indian Hindi action-adventure film directed by Ramesh Sippy and produced by his father G. P. Sippy. The film follows two criminals, Veeru and Jai (played by Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan), hired by a retired police officer (Sanjeev Kumar) to capture the ruthless dacoit Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan). Hema Malini and Jaya Bhaduri also star, as Veeru and Jai's love interests. Sholay is considered a classic and one of the best Indian films. It was ranked first in the British Film Institute's 2002 poll of "Top 10 Indian Films" of all time. In 2005, the judges of the 50th annual Filmfare Awards named it the Best Film of 50 Years.

2.3 Idiots
3 Idiots is a 2009 Indian coming of age comedy-drama film co-written, edited, and directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod ChopraAbhijat Joshi wrote the screenplay. It was loosely adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat. The film stars Aamir KhanKareena KapoorR. MadhavanSharman JoshiOmi VaidyaParikshit Sahni and Boman Irani.

3.Mughal-E-Azam


















Mughal-e-Azam (The Emperor of the Mughals) is a 1960 Indian epic historical drama film directed by K. Asif and produced by Shapoorji Pallonji. Starring Prithviraj KapoorDilip KumarMadhubala, and Durga Khote, it follows the love affair between Mughal Prince Salim (who went on to become Emperor Jahangir) and Anarkali, a court dancer. Salim's father, Emperor Akbar, disapproves of the relationship, which leads to a war between father and son.

4.Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge





Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (English: The Big-Hearted Will Take Away the Bride), also known by the initialism  DDLJ, is an Indian romance film written and directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Chopra. Released on 20 October 1995, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The plot revolves around Raj and Simran, two young non-resident Indians, who fall in love during a vacation through Europe with their friends. Raj tries to win over Simran's family so the couple can marry, but Simran's father has long since promised her hand to his friend's son. The film was shot in India, London and Switzerland, from September 1994 to August 1995.

5.Mother India



















Mother India is a 1957 Indian epic drama film, directed by Mehboob Khan and starring NargisSunil DuttRajendra Kumar, and Raaj Kumar. A remake of Khan's earlier film Aurat (1940), it is the story of a poverty-stricken village woman named Radha (Nargis) who, in the absence of her husband, struggles to raise her sons and survive against a cunning money-lender amidst many troubles. Despite her hardship, she sets a goddess-like moral example of an ideal Indian woman.

6.Lagaan



















Lagaan (English: Taxation) is a 2001 Indian epic sports-drama film written and directed by Ashutosh GowarikerAamir Khan, who was also the producer, stars with Gracy Singh in the lead roles; British actors Rachel Shelley and Paul Blackthorne play the supporting roles. Made on a then-unprecedented budget of 250 million (equivalent to 540 million or US$8.0 million in 2016), the film was shot in an ancient village near Bhuj, India.The film is set in the Victorian period of India's colonial British Raj. The story revolves around a small village whose inhabitants, oppressed by high taxes, find themselves in an extraordinary situation as an arrogant officer challenges them to a game of cricket as a wager to avoid the taxes. The narrative spins around this situation as the villagers face the arduous task of learning the alien game and playing for a result that will change their village's destiny.

7.Anand








Anand (English: Bliss) is a 1971 Indian drama film co-written and directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It stars Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles, with Khanna playing the title role. The dialogues were written by Gulzar. The film won several awards including the filmfare award for best film in 1972. In 2013, it was listed in Anupama Chopra's book "100 Films To See before You Die".

8.Andaz Apna Apna





Andaz Apna Apna  is a 1994 Indian comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, starring Salman KhanAamir KhanRaveena TandonKarisma Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. MehmoodGovinda and Juhi Chawla make guest appearances. The film was released on 4 November 1994. The plot elements of this movie were later used in other language movies such as Ullathai Allitha (1996), Veedevadandi Babu (1997) and Galate Aliyandru (2000), though none being frame to frame remake. The film was an average grosser at the box office, but has since emerged as a cult film over the years.It was reported that the climax of 1973 movie Victoria No. 203, including the set and the action, was shot-to-shot copied in this movie.

PK is a 2014 Indian satirical science fiction comedy film. The film was directed by Rajkumar Hirani, produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. The film stars Aamir Khan in the title role with Anushka Sharma,Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, and Sanjay Dutt in supporting roles. It tells the story of an alien who comes to Earth on a research mission. He befriends a television journalist and questions religious dogmas and superstitions.
The film received positive reviews and emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of all time,and ranks as the 70th highest-grossing film of 2014 worldwide. The film has been regarded as one of the best Hindi films of 2014PK was the first Indian film to gross INR 7 billion worldwide. It was also the first Indian film to gross US$100 million (Rs 630 crore) worldwide.

10.Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. is a 2003 Indian comedy film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie is based on English movie Patch Adams (film) released back in 1998. The story involves protagonist Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt), a goon, going to medical school. He is helped by his sidekick, Circuit (Arshad Warsi). It stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Jimmy Shergill, Sunil Dutt, Gracy Singh and Boman Irani and was later followed by a second film Lage Raho Munna Bhai, and became the first installment of the Munna Bhai film series.It went on to win the 2004 National Film Award for Best Popular Film, and several Filmfare awards, including the Critics Award for Best Movie and Best Screenplay. It was declared a 'Blockbuster' at the Indian Box office and achieved silver jubilee status (25 week run) being one of only eight films to have achieved this status since the year 2000. In its 26th week of release the film could still be found playing on 257 screens throughout India.

1.Enter the Dragon






Enter the Dragon is a 1973 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Robert Clouse; starring Bruce Lee, John Saxon and Jim Kelly. This was Bruce Lee's final film appearance (footage was shot and used in what became Game of Death) before his death on 20 July 1973, at the age of 32. The film was first released on 26 July 1973 in Hong Kong, six days after Lee's death. Lee was also one of the film's writers.Often considered one of the greatest martial arts films of all time, in 2004, Enter the Dragon was deemed "culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant" in the United States and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress.

2.Fist of Fury





Fist of Fury, also known as The Chinese Connection in the United States, is a 1972 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Lo Wei, starring Bruce Lee in his second major role after The Big Boss (1971). Lee plays Chen Zhen, a student of Huo Yuanjia, who fights to defend the honor of the Chinese in the face of foreign aggression, and to bring to justice those responsible for his master's death.

3.The Way of the Dragon







The Way of the Dragon ( released in the United States as Return of the Dragon) is a 1972 Hong Kong martial arts action comedy film written, produced and directed by Bruce Lee, who also stars in the lead role. This was Lee's only completed directorial effort. The film co-stars Nora MiaoChuck NorrisRobert Wall and Hwang In-shikWay of the Dragon was released in Hong Kong on 30 December 1972.

4.The Big Boss








The Big Boss ( also known as Fists of Fury) is a 1971 Hong Kong martial arts action film written and directed by Lo Wei, with assistance from Bruce Lee. It stars Lee, Maria YiJames Tien and Tony Liu. Lee's first major film, it was written for James Tien. However, when the film's original director, Ng Kar-seung, was replaced by Lo, Lee was given the leading role instead. Lee's strong performance overshadowed Tien, already a star in Hong Kong, and made Bruce Lee famous across Asia.

5.The Game of Death












The Game of Death is an incomplete 1972 Hong Kong martial arts film directed, written, produced by and starring Bruce Lee, in his final film attempt. Lee died during the making of the film. Over 100 minutes of footage was shot prior to his death, some of which was later misplaced in the Golden Harvest archives. The remaining footage has been released with Lee's original Cantonese and English dialogue, with John Little dubbing Lee's Hai Tien character as part of the documentary entitled Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey. Most of the footage which was shot is from what was to be the centerpiece of the film.

6.Bruce Lee: The Man, The Myth






















Bruce Lee: The Man, The Myth ( also known as Bruce Lee: The True Story) is a 1976 Hong Kong semi biographical martial arts film starring Ho Chung-tao and directed by Ng See-yuen. The film was released in the Hong Kong on 28 October 1976.

7.Game of Death II












Game of Death II ( aka Tower of Death and The New Game of Death) is a 1981 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Ng See-yuen starring Bruce Lee, Tong Lung, Huong Cheng Li and Roy Horan. This film was marketed as a sequel to Bruce Lee's last and only partially completed film Game of Death. Bruce Lee died some years before the production of Game of Death II and most of his scenes are taken from Lee's older films; mostly from Enter the Dragon. Aside from the International English dub giving the "Bruce Lee" character the name "Billy Lo", this movie would seem to have no connection with Robert Clouse's film.

8.The Kid













The Kid, also known as Kid Cheung and My Son A-Chang, is a 1950 Hong Kong drama film starring the then 10-year-old Bruce Lee in his first leading role in the title role of "Kid Cheung", based on a comic book character written by Yuen Po-wan, who also has a role in the film. Co-starring Lee's father, Lee Hoi-chuen, this is the second film in which the father and son worked together on, the other being The Birth of Mankind in 1946.

9.Marlowe














Marlowe is a 1969 neo-noir movie starring James Garner as Raymond Chandler's private detective Philip Marlowe. Directed by Paul Bogart, the mystery film was written by Stirling Silliphant based on Chandler's 1949 novel The Little Sister.
The supporting cast includes Bruce Lee, Gayle Hunnicutt, Rita Moreno, Sharon Farrell, Carroll O'Connor and Jackie Coogan.

10.The Thunderstorm













The Thunderstorm is a 1957 Hong Kong drama film directed by Ng Wui and starring Bruce Lee based on the play Thunderstorm by Chinese dramatist Cao Yu. Originally filmed and released in Cantonese in 1957, The Thunderstorm was dubbed into Mandarin for re-release during the 1970s in Hong Kong when Lee shot to super stardom during the time when Mandarin films dominated Hong Kong cinema.
